Dan o Dents FAQs

Our common questions asked about paintless dent removal and operations

  • I have hail damage. What's next?

Contact us right away and we will be happy to help you through the whole claim process. Remember it is your choice where and how your vehicle is repaired and NOT the insurance company’s. Do not allow your insurance company to direct you to a repair facility of their choosing.
  • What is Paintless Dent Removal?

Paintless Dent Removal (PDR) is the art of reshaping metal back into its original form. It is the fastest, most efficient, and cost-effective method of removing door dings and minor dents.
  • How is PDR performed?

The PDR process involves using a special board that casts a reflective pattern across the damaged area. With highly skilled training and acute hand-eye coordination experienced technicians use the lines as a point of reference while gaining access behind the damaged panel with special tools. Then tools are used to reshape the damaged area from behind without disturbing your factory or custom finish. If access is not possible from behind the panel a glue pulling technique is used to aid in reshaping the metal.
  • Can dents be taken out of anything?

PDR is typically performed on passenger vehicles. However, dents can also be removed from motorcycle tanks, tractors, commercial vehicles, airplanes, etc. As a general rule of thumb, if the paint is not damaged there is a good chance the dent can be removed.
  • What are the business hours of Dan-O-Dents?

There are no set hours of operation. Dan-O-Dents understands that not all dent repairs can be performed between the hours of 9 to 5, so customers may schedule early morning, afternoon, evening, or weekend.
  • How long do repairs take?

Depending on the damage and insurance supplement process, most vehicles are completed within 1-5 days.
  • Is the repair guaranteed?

Yes. Work is 100% satisfaction guaranteed! If for some reason you are not completely satisfied with the work performed then no charge is applied.
